So I am going to finish reading my favorite fictional inspecter, Magret. I have been reading up a storm. I found so many of Magret books its great. I can't wait to read them all. I am going to start a redwork embroidery it will be great. Its just taking too long for me to finish.

It had been a year since I have written in this spot. Many things to report. I had a busy , wonderful year. Rohit got married in December 2009. Nimisha went to Cairo ,Egypt for her one semester at American University Cairo. She had a great experience being in that country and while she was in that part of the world she got to visit Turkey and Scotland. We all met at Pune, India for the wedding. It was a nice wedding and after the wedding and family time we got to M.P.. New Years eve was at Bhopal and was great. It was nice to see a lot of family and friends. The weather was great too. Mandu is always beautiful to visit with people you love. This is my third time to visit this wonderful old city of love. I got to see Ravi who was home. We looked for a home to buy and or land too. It is too bad we did not get to spend much time with Sanjay and family as they came for such a short time. I was able to go to Nagpur to see my oldest "atya" aunt, that I have not seen in 20years. She and her family was great to visit. She is pretty, smart and sweet. I wish we kept in touch with extended family.

I got back to knitting this year. Also got some felting done. I would like to do more of Quilting, embroidery too. It would be nice to get much done. I have been reading a lot too. It is nice to have life in the the "emptly nest" so great. I miss kids so very much. Re did the extra room as study for Dileep and It tourned out well. I also think Dileep likes it. This last February I got to visit DC and met Christina. Time with Nikhil was very nice. In the spring Nimisha came home to visit with Megan and Jacklyn. They came by car, what an adventure for them. Well next some other day.

Memorial Day weekend

So Nimisha got home on the 13Th of this month and days feel nice. After some cold and a couple of hot days the spring has arrived. The birds are back making the nests and making music that I like so much. Mornings are so wonderful. I truly love the walks in the morning.

My week end had been very busy with my gourmet club dinner. But Saturday is over and Sunday had been a very lazy, late start and so on. The weather spring like, a little cold and rainy. I wanted to reconnect with family but no one was available. My entire family including my son went in total hiding.

My first ever blog post

Ok so I have decided to do this but have no idea how to do this. I also wondered if I am too old to get in to this stuff? What is wrong with writing my old way in a beautiful paper journal? hmm
